On the last US election on November 5th, 2024, Donald Trump won another presidential mandate over Kamala Harris.
In next days and years there will be talks and talks about Donald Trump and his policy, but a true winner of this election is Melania Trump.

She is the first in many ways:
- the first naturalized citizen to become First Lady,
- the first woman of Slavic descent to hold the position, while others had European roots primarily from English, Irish, or German backgrounds, like Donald’s,
- the second Catholic First Lady after Jacqueline Kennedy.
Her life began in Yugoslavia, in its northern republic, Slovenia, where s he was born in April 1970 as Melanija Knavs.

The following month, Ljubljana hosted the 1970 FIBA World Championship, during which the Yugoslav basketball team won its first FIBA World Championship title (the second was in Manila in 1978).

Perhaps it was an omen for Melania’s future. Even after Yugoslavia disappeared in a bloody civil war, Slovenia emerged as one of the independent countries, much like Superman after the destruction of Krypton. Melania became a superwoman, serving as the First Lady of a global superpower.
During her teenage years, she showed an interest in modeling; although she was a good student, she later gave up her studies in architecture to pursue a career in modeling.
Her beauty, both physical and spiritual, garnered recognition in major fashion capitals, first in Paris and Milan, in Italy, she won a beauty pageant but rejected the prize due to an indecent proposal.
Finally in 1996, she immigrate in USA, forever settling herself in New York. During her work, she met with many famous persons, but at the end like in a fairy tale, she met her prince, Donald Trump, in 1998, and despite any scandals, their relationship and marriage have endured.

Melanija is the mother of Barron, who will be a university student next year, and she remains a steadfast supporter of her husband, embodying the notion that “behind every successful man stands a great woman.”
As January approaches, Donald Trump will take a presidential duty again after 2017, but it may not be “The Return of the King,” but rather “The Return of the Queen.”

Welcome back Melania.
